September 14th: BMI's 70th Anniversary

1947 - 2017: This year, BMI celebrates its 70th Anniversary.

For this special occasion, we have hosted our customers and partners on September 14th, for a celebration day. 64 people from 12 different countries participated in this event. Feedback on the day's highlights.

Technical seminar at Château de Chapeau Cornu

The morning and afternoon were dedicated to the technical seminar where BMI introduced its latest developments and some customers spoke about their vacuum heat treatment applications.

BMI workshop

A visit of BMI's workshop and metallurgical laboratory was organized on late afternoon. We ended the tour with an awards distribution to some of our outstanding customers (ex: largest fleet of BMI furnaces, biggest furnace ever manufactured...).

Chapelle de la Trinité

We ended the day in Lyon city centre, in the beautiful Chapelle de la Trinité. A XVI^th c. baroque chapel where we enjoyed a regional wine tasting from M.Chapoutier vineyards and a nice dinner in the central nave.
